Matt Hanshaw, growing up in the hills of West Virginia, started playing guitar at the age of six and hit the stage at the age of nine. He performed every Saturday night at the West Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame. As a teenager, he played numerous fairs, festivals, clubs, weddings, and even made a few appearances on the Wheeling Jamboree. He landed his first theatre job in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee where he met his beautiful wife, Jackie Brown. They both have made Branson and Grand Country their home. Without a doubt, Matt is one of the best guitar players in the region. His versatility and proficiency astound his peers. He’s a recipient of Guitar Player of the Year, by Branson Show Awards.
