Lindsey was born in Janesville, Wisconsin, however she was raised in Harvard, Illinois with her two sisters. Her Mom, an English teacher, and her Dad, a firefighter, inspired her to be a performer with family trips to Chicago (via the Metra Train) to see musical theatre shows at the Auditorium Theatre. This inspiration led to dance and voice lessons and childhood involvement with community theatre. At age 17, she started her first professional performing job at Six Flags Great America. After that summer, she started college at Millikin University, in Decatur, Illinois, and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
Following college she performed with Busch Gardens, Spirit of Chicago, Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre, Radio City Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes, Silver Dollar City, and Red Hot & Blue. This is her first season with Comedy Jamboree and she brings a lot of experience and expertise to Grand Country.
Lindsey recently got engaged to her sweetheart of three years, Neil, who is a firefighter in Peoria, Illinois. She feels very blessed to become a family with him and his amazing son, Mateo, and their dogs, Bea & Grover. She loves gardening, hiking, traveling, dog walking, and is a huge fan of mixed martial arts.
All of her performances are dedicated to the memory of her Mom, who bravely battled cancer for 11 years and taught her to always be kind and beautiful on the inside, and to her Dad, who’s strength and love are a constant inspiration in her life.
