Larry Allred started learning to play the bass guitar at the early age of nine years old in Kansas City, Missouri. Not only did his dad teach him to play, but also passed on his love of country music. Since the early days, Larry has had the great fortune of backing up artists like Cal Smith, Freddie Hart, Ray Price, Hank Thompson and many others, which just happen to be some of his country music heroes.
Larry feels like the luckiest guy in the world to get to do what he loves for a living and never once takes it for granted. He’s performed with other Branson shows such as Lost In The 50’s, Country Tonite, and Dalena Ditto.
When he’s not on stage, he devotes time to wife Dawn, daughters Allison and Halie, dog Buddy, and loves to remodel the house. He’s also very proud of Timmera and Chris, his oldest children, on their recent graduation from college. Timmera is also blessing the family with their first grandchild.
