Justin Sifford “Stretch McCord”

Justin Sifford Family 2015

Comedian – Stretch McCord

Justin Sifford, also known as Stretch McCord, has been entertaining Branson audiences for more than 15 years. While he was still a student at Reeds Spring High School, just outside of Branson, he knew he wanted to entertain. Even though he knew what he wanted to do, Justin’s journey down the road to being an entertainer started when he began robbing locals and tourists alike of their valuables, but don’t worry, he always gave them back.

Yup, Justin started his entertainment career performing as Alphie Bolin while robbing the Frisco Silver Dollar Train Line at Silver Dollar City. Justin was such a success he went on to perform as Choctaw Charlie in the Saloon Show and was a part of several other shows and attractions at the park. Not only did he continue to perform through high school, Justin also received a degree in communications from Missouri Southern State University. He joined the Comedy Jamboree several years ago and has called it home ever since.

While bluegrass music is one of his first loves, Justin said he enjoys listening to and performing a wide variety of music. Justin is also a confessed “Parrot Head,” (a huge fan of Jimmy Buffet) and is always happy listening to his music. He is currently the lead singer and guitar player with the band known as the Missouri Boatride Bluegrass Band, which got its name from the iconic Clint Eastwood masterpiece The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Growing up in the Ozarks, Justin was raised to have a strong love of God, Country and family, a set of values he still has to this day. In addition to music, Justin is also an avid history buff. When he isn’t brushing up on American history or performing, he really enjoys being outdoors. His favorite activities are hunting and spending time on any of the area’s beautiful bodies of water, listening to some goodtime music.

Justin has been married to his beautiful wife Lori for more than 15 years, and the good Lord has blessed them with two precious sons, Harrison and Jackson.
